Restoring a roof with the AlphaGuard PUMA system can cost building owners 40 – 50% less than replacement and dramatically reduce the amount of roofing material hauled to overstressed landfills.  Its highly reflective surface can help lower energy use and reduce the strain on HVAC equipment.  The AlphaGuard PUMA system is completely waterproof after 30 minutes, accepts foot traffic after two hours and is an excellent cold weather system, able to be installed down to -20 F (-29 C) -- no waiting for spring to solve roofing problems!   

The AlphaGuard PUMA system will expand project opportunities for contractors.  It is a two-component, modified polyurethane methacrylate waterproofing resin with superior flexibility and elongation that can restore modified bitumen and smooth built-up roof systems, and is fully reinforced with either glass or polyester membrane. Applying an extremely bright, white surface coat will satisfy customer requirements for high reflectivity and emissivity.   A 100% solids system, AlphaGuard PUMA is VOC acceptable throughout the United States and Canada and is Class A fire rated by Underwriters Laboratories.  Because the AlphaGuard PUMA system excels in the bitter cold, contractors can keep working while their competitors are idle.  AlphaGuard PUMA is also a very good flashing system because of its ease of application and fast set.

AlphaGuard PUMA is also available as the AlphaGuard PUMA PLUS system.  This fully reinforced system consists of approved insulation followed by a layer of BURmastic Composite Ply and AlphaGuard PUMA.  It is excellent for use as a replacement system or in new construction.
