The Tremco Roofing and Building Maintenance Division is pleased to announce the promotion of Kurt Sosinski, RRC, CDT, to director of product management; Sosinski will be responsible for the development and testing of all roofing systems.

BEACHWOOD, Ohio (April 1, 2009) – Already a leading provider of non-residential and residential construction products, systems and services, Tremco Incorporated has taken a significant step forward in helping customers manage their facilities for greater energy efficiency by acquiring Canam Building Envelope Specialists (Canam) of Mississauga, Ontario. Zerodraft, a related company that provides specialized retrofit weatherstripping and distributes a variety of related insulation and sealant products, is also part of the acquisition.

The vegetated roof that Tremco installed on the William J. Clinton Presidential Library has been honored with an Excelllence in Design Award from the Center for Environmental Innovation in Roofing. This is the first vegetated roof on a presidential library.

Tremco Incorporated’s Roofing and Building Maintenance Division recently participated in a special series developed by television station WCPO in Cincinnati, OH. "Living Green" focuses on products, services and lifestyle changes that are good for the environment. Tremco's segment reviewed the benefits of our vegetated roofing systems and white, reflective Rock-It(TM) Roof Surfacing System, such as water management and reducing energy consumption.
