The system features:

• Modular trays with locking sidewalls for a secure fit; perforated sidewalls enable growing media contact throughout the entire tray.
• An integrated water retention panel and drainage board with the industry's highest water retention capacity to help better manage stormwater.
• A heavy-duty percolation layer that provides drainage below the growing media and prevents root rot, to help protect the plant palette.
• Standard 4" growing media depth.
• Pre-vegetated, standard modules include sedums and short grass blends (custom mixes are available).

The VR Mod system has received FM Global approval within the United States and Canada.

A variety of accessories are also available, including irrigation (which is vital for thinner vegetated roof profiles) and deck accessories.
