AlphaGrade is used to restore gravel-surfaced, built-up roofing (BUR) systems. It is used as a leveling coat that secures gravel to the roof, after which the AlphaGrade Base Coat and highly-reflective AlphaGrade Top Coat are applied.  This combination provides three layers of waterproofing protection to aging but still functional gravel-surfaced roofs, so the roof does not need to be replaced.  With virtually no smell, AlphaGrade is perfect for use in sensitive environments such as schools, hospitals, occupied buildings, etc.

Composition:

AlphaGrade is a two-component, bio-based, polyurethane levelling coat.  Its high percentage of bio-based and post-consumer recycled content makes it both sustainable and environmentally responsible.  AlphaGrade employs a catalyzed cure, which results in faster cure times compared to one component products. High solids (100%) results in enhanced waterproofing and greater value.  A low VOC product, AlphaGrade is non-flammable, meets California VOC standards and is very low in odor.
